india.One sweeter version and another savoury version made with salt and
bit of spices like pepper. In this recipe, I have shared a sweeter version of
ragi malt with jaggery and milk which makes it a refreshing drink and merely
10-15 minutes.

Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp ragi flour
- 2 cup water
- 2 tsp jaggery / as per your taste
- ½ cup milk
- 2-3 cardamom
- 8-10 Almonds
- Salt to taste
How to make
- Dry roast Almonds and cardamoms for 2-3 minutes.Then grind everything to a smooth powder.
- Next in a bowl take 2 tbsp ragi flour dissolve ragi flour in 1 cup water without forming any lumps. keep aside.
- Now in a saucepan boil 1 cup water.
- once the water comes to a boil, add in dissolved ragi flour.
- Stir continuously keeping the flame on low to medium.
- The mixture thickens after 5 minutes and turns glossy and clear after 10 minutes.
- Further, add 2 tsp jaggery or as per your taste. Mix again very well till all the jaggery gets dissolved. Add some more water if needed.
- Add salt as per your taste, and mix it well.
- Now add ½ cup milk and mix on low flame.
- Then add the almonds and cardamom powder and mix well.
- Serve ragi malt hot or warm or at room temperature.
